T-50 (cn 11048) Inflight between Buenos Aires and Puerto Madryn, on our flight from Buenos Aires to El Calafate, via Puerto Madryn and Esquel. Nice but limited view from the second last seating row. Note: Originally Fokker 28-4000 with s/n 11203 was registered T-50, but since 2007 it's this F28-1000 (ex- Fokker Demonstrator and LAER aircraft LV-LZN). This is one of the last F28-1000 series still carrying passengers on sheduled flights (operated by LADE, Fuerza Aerea Argentina). |

T-50 (cn 11048) This was the Fokker demonstrator at the Farnborough Air Show in 1976, wearing the registration PH-ZBM. Later it was delivered to Argentine Air Force as T-04. From 2003 until mid-2004, it operated with LAER as LV-LZN. And currently, it's back with the Argentina Air Force, flying for LADE with this unusual scheme. First photo in the database wearing the Argentina Air Force titles. |

LV-LZN (cn 11048) Former Argentina Air Force T-04. LAER, Lineas Aereas de Entre Rios, is now a defunct airline. In fact it already was as I took the picture, since a/c was operating for American Falcon. Now this Fokker rests in PRA waiting for a new operator, if she’s lucky enough to find one despite her thirsty and noisy Rolls Royce Spey engines. |
