Badr Airlines
Antonov An-26
In Flight
Sudan, April 2007
Remark
Photographer
ST-SAL (cn 11907) A rare shot on board of the Alpha Lima on its way to Khartoum from Wau in Southern-Sudan. The image is taken from between the curtains that divide the cabin from the cargo section. No flash has been used to preserve the (scarce) natural light on board. The dark device on top of the image is a hoist. It is still an An-26!

Badr Airlines
Antonov An-26
In Flight
Sudan, April 2007
Remark
Photographer
ST-SAL (cn 11907) Cramped in, together with a crew of four, one of the best flights I ever had. Badr has daily services from Khartoum to Wau. This was on the way back and the Ukrainian crew was so kind to host me in the cockpit. The plane once was flying for Sarit Airlines until they changed the name into Badr. The other Badr aircraft (An-72/4, Il-76 and Mi-8) all have regis in the series ST-BD_.
