N68182 (cn 18281498) Taken just after emerging from a stationary front, which, with a little help from the G1000, NEXRAD base reflectivity, XM lightning, ATC, and some good preflight planning, we penetrated with no problem at all. The G1000 is a revolutionary system that improves a pilots' level situational aware vastly over a conventional cockpit. The G1000 has so many features that, when properly used by a well trained pilot, make the it more potent than alot of jet cockpits. En route EVB to JNX.
