VH-EBN (cn 18808/404) A rare 1974 in-flight cabin view of Qantas Airways' First Boeing 707-338C VH-EBN 'City of Parramatta'. I had boarded VH-EBN at Hong Kong (Kai Tak) for a 1.5 hour hop to Manila in the Philippines (my first flight with Qantas). This photo was taken at the end of the 7.5 hour overnight flight from Manila to Sydney. Then I did the 7.5 hour overnight flight from Manila to Sydney arriving 11Feb1974. The other tails are an Alitalia DC-10, a Singapore Airlines B707, and Pan Am B707-321B N884PA Clipper Nightingale. VH-EBN (Del: 09Feb1965) went to Singapore Airlines as 9V-BFW on 16Jul1974. |
