Photographer
19310 / 3 (cn 19310) The G-version for sure is one of the most beautiful Bf-109 versions ever built and on top of that this particular one appears to be in a striking good shape!

Germany - Air Force
Messerschmitt Bf-109G-4
Speyer (EDRY)
Germany, January 11, 2004
Remark
Photographer
19310 / 3 (cn 19310) The world's only surviving Bf 109 G-4. Built in spring 1943 at Wiener Neustadt, she carried a red heart and the nickname "Nesthäkchen". On March 20th 1943, Oberleutnant von Coester had to belly-land the plane due to a damaged engine on the Black Sea. The pilot was killed and the plane sunk. She was recovered in 1977, and rebuilt in Italy. Now on permanent display here in Germany.
