Started with Flying Tigers (and appeared in the classic 1970 movie "Airport"), other operators over the years included Qantas, BCal, Zambia, Bangladesh and Omega. Crashed on approach to Sao Paulo on 23.3.89 while in cargo service with TransBrasil at PT-TCS

EI-ASO (cn 19354/503) This aircraft named St Canice crashed into a residential area on approach to Sao Paolo, Brazil in March 1989 whilst in service with Transbrazil as PT-TCS. I have never met Howard Chaloner, another airliners.net photographer but he photographed this unusal LHR visitor at about the same time as me all those years ago.

N324F (cn 19354/503) This unpainted plane was leased from "FLYING TIGER LINES"'. You can see its marking together with EL-AL marking. Also the American flag on the edge of the tail. Sadly, this plane was crashed on March 21, 1989 (21 victims) at Sao Paulo while in the service of "TRANSBRASIL AIRLINES" as a freight plane.

The aircraft crashed into a residential area (favela Jardim Ipanema) 2km from the Airport
