HS-UTA (cn 193C-1225) Oh, my favourite aircraft - Lockheed Tristar! I miss this beauty which used to be common sightings at Kai Tak before they were completely phased out by Cathay Pacific in the mid-1990's. Since then, Tristars have become rare here, especially after the closure of Kai Tak. Recently, Tristar is spotted again here as Orient Thai Airlines send their only Tristar, HS-UTA, to Hong Kong at times. I hope we will be able to spot more Tristars in Hong Kong in their remaining days. |
