Untitled (Redmond Air)
Vickers 745D Viscount
Olympia Regional (OLM - KOLM)
USA - Washington, April 1983
Remark
Photographer
N7450 (cn 206) Delivered to Capital Airlines November 1956, N7450 was absorbed in to the United Airlines fleet in 1961 via a merger. Viscount International Corporation bought it, along with the rest of United's Viscount fleet including spares in 1969. After a time with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (74-77) and Trans Florida Airlines (77-79), it was sold to Redmond Air, who owned it from 1979 to 1983. Re-purchased by Trans Florida , repainted in a new livery, but put into storage and broken up in 1987.

USA - Air Force
Convair C-131D
Birmingham - Shuttlesworth International (BHM / KBHM)
USA - Alabama, August 6, 1989
Remark
Photographer
55-0290 (cn 206) The Operational Support Aircraft for the Alabama ANG was this old Convair, seen here on display at the 1989 Birmingham (Air Guard) air show. This was its last appearance, as all remaining C-131s were phased out of the USAF inventory within the next few months, replaced by C-130s and C-26s. See photo 0031884 for a photo of the same aircraft at the 1987 show with a blue fin cap (red in this photo, different flight assignment). 117th TRW, 106th TRS, AL ANG.

Aerospatiale-BAC Concorde 102
London - Heathrow (LHR / EGLL)
UK - England, Late 1980's
Remark
Photographer
G-BOAA (cn 206) Under tow on the East Base passing the huge TBJ hangars by in the background. Sadly this fantastic spot has now gone, along with the "Rocket". Without a doubt Landor adorned Concordes were the ultimate in aviation perfection! Scanned from an original print.

UK - Scotland, April 16, 2013
Remark
Photographer
G-BOAA (cn 206) The tail of the major tourist attraction at the Museum of Flight. The tip of the fin just fits under the roof. Behind is the only other aircraft exhibit in the building, the beautifully restored front section of a Boeing 707, G-APFJ
