EP-SHU (cn 21126/914) My last ride on the Saha Air B707. Flight IRZ161 from Mashhad to Tehran in the evening. Original cabin with racks. Photo from the last row. What a ride! I flew it a total of 10 times since 2004. All Saha Air flight has been grounded currently. Rumour have the B707 is converting to be a IRIAF tanker. [Nikon D800] |

EP-SHU (cn 21126/914) This old Boeing 707-3J9C is the last passenger 707 in the world. She has 37 years old.She now is flying as a civil passenger airplane in last years of her life in Saha Airline.IRIAF will convert it to Tanker configuration by 2014. Look at auxiliary air intakes of its old JT3D-3B Turbofan engines in open position around its nacelles, they are helping engine to suck more air for boosted take off. they will be closed during flight |

Tehran Mehrabad is an extremely interesting airport, boast varieties such as B707, B747, IL-62, Tu-154 and C-130 on the Air Force ramp below.
