G-BDXG (cn 21536/328) Built in 1977 and delivered to British Airways on 16th June 1978; G-BDXG was named “City of Oxford”. Wearing the Swedish art from the late 90’s, she was retired after the tragic events of 9/11 and stored. She took the skies once more, being delivered to European on 7th February 2002. Retired from use in 2004, she was scrapped in May 2008. [Nikon D50] |

Other serials - G-BDXG with EAL European Airlines - delivered during February 2008. Wears FN XG with British Airways. Stored at BOH. Broken-up at BOH during May 2008. These gray/blue colors were hard to photograph on dark cloudy days. Note the United Airlines 767 and American Eagle Jetstream 31 on taxiway Bravo. |
