XB446 (cn 2241) his Avenger was built as a TBM-3E and TOC by the US Navy as 69502 in 1945. In 1953 she was transported to Scotland and converted to AS5 standard by Scottish Aviation at Prestwick and then two years later to ECM6 standard at RNAS Gosport. Finally grounded by the Navy in 1963 she is now on display in Hall 2 of the Fleet Air Arm Museum.

XB446 (cn 2241) Originally built as a TBM-3E, this electronic counter measures aircraft is powered by a 1,750hp Wright Cyclone R-2600-20 engine. Accepted in to service on 22/02/1945, she completed over 1306 flight hours in the USA before being shipped to Glasgow in 1953 where she was converted to an AS3 and joined RNAS Abbotsinch in 1954. She was then converted to an ECM6B in 1955. She was grounded on 11/03/1963 after completing a further 993 flight hours arriving at the FAAM on 04/09/1969 (Canon 50D + Sigma 10-20 EX DC)
