G-AWZK (cn 2312) The impresive tail of this classic jetliner on static display at Manchesters Aviation Viewing Park. The tail section houses three Rolls Royce Spey turbojets, a fourth Rolls Royce RB162-86 boost engine unique to the Trident 3B for use at take off, especially in 'hot and high' climates and a fifth hidden inside, the APU. That's five jet engines in one tail!!! (Canon 50D + Sigma 10-20 EX DC HSM) |
