N2500B (cn 2500) Rare photo of Bell Helicopter Textron demonstrator Bell406CS Combat Scout N2500B 'running up' at Canberra Airport in 1986. I went for a 0.3 hour demo flight in this helo over Mt Majura, which included hovering with the tail into wind. (A Trans Australia Airlines (TAA) DC-9-31 is visible at left.) This helo was on static display at Farnborough UK in 1984, 1988 and 1990, and at Le Bourget in 1985 in Saudi Arabian Army markings. (Only 15 Bell 406Cs helos were built.) Low res photo. D-AXLA (cn 2500) [Canon 400D + 100-400L] This is the A320 that crashed at 27/11/08 near Perpignan in France. It was delivered at 29/07/2005 to Freedom Air and was about to be delivered once again with the same registration. My condolocenses to the family of the 7 crew members that lost their lifes. RIP. |
