G-BYAB (cn 25139/373) Taking to the sky from Runway 23L. This 're-nosed' 767 has flown all its 17 year life for Britannia/Thomsonfly, having not gone after all to Silverjet, as planned, earlier this year.

Thomsonfly
Boeing 767-204/ER
Manchester - International (Ringway) (MAN / EGCC)
UK - England, September 20, 2008
Remark
Photographer
G-BYAB (cn 25139/373) 'Alpha Bravo' is named after Brian Johnston, the well known English cricket commentator. He had a prominent nose, and it seems this 767 is matching this at present - certainly no missing the replacement radome here. Photographed holding at the Victor Alpha hold prior to entering Runway 23L.
