9M-MPK (cn 28427/1147) This specific Queen of the Sky was named "Johor Bahru", a city I have visited in Malaysia. Unsure of what the future holds for the Malaysian B744 fleet, but I certainly miss those loud MAS jumbos.

9M-MPK (cn 28427/1147) Onboard Malaysia Airlines First Class after arrival from KUL as MH123 red-eye flight. Probably my last chance to fly the MH744 before they are retired. Many thanks for the very friendly crew onboard who made it a wonderful experiance!

9M-MPK (cn 28427/1147) About to touch the runway in the beautiful early morning light. The ever majestic shape of the 747; irreplaceable! Also note the two nicely shaped vortices.
