Thomsonfly (Thomson Airways)
Boeing 737-36N
Manchester - International (Ringway) (MAN / EGCC)
UK - England, August 3, 2010
Remark
Photographer
G-THON (cn 28596/3112) Departing Manchester's Runway 23R, this photo shows the view to the south east over Cheshire, towards the hills in Derbyshire, with the threshold of Runway 23L in view (the runways are parallel and staggered at Manchester). The area at the far left of the photo (above the lighter coloured starter extension for 23L) is commonly referred to as 'The Mound', where many enthusiasts gather to photograph the many images seen on the site of aircraft taxiing and lined up for departure from that runway.

Boeing 737-36N
Bournemouth - International (Hurn) (BOH / EGHH)
UK - England, April 8, 2010
Remark
Photographer
G-THON (cn 28596/3112) From a fleet of eleven Boeing 737-300s, Thomson Airways is now down to a fleet of just four. The airline will shortly replace its based classic with a modern Boeing 737-800 allowing for further afield destinations to be flown. [Nikon D80 & Sigma 70-300mm lens, ISO 100, 1/350s, f/8]
