N263MX / 9 (cn 3) Nigel Lamb’s MX2, a regular in the international Red Bull air race series, was a highlight of the Welshpool air show; the little racer rocketed down the crowd line at hedge-top height and put on a fantastic sequence of very fast aerobatics. It was very difficult to track in the viewfinder during its fast passes and its speed demanded a faster exposure than I would have liked. |

F-BNAN (cn 3) Now in storage for the Musée de l'Air, only two of this development from the basic Potez 840 design were built - the other (CN-ALL) is said to remain derelict at Rabat in Morocco. Besides four Potez 840s, two 841s were also made, using PT-6A turboprops |

F-BKRH (cn 3) Another rare French transport, which began life as the Max Holste MH-260 in 1959, powered by Turbomeca Bastan IV turboprops (predecessor of the Astazou). Although only 10 were completed, the 260 went on to be developed into the 262 of which some 111 were built. This 260 remains flyable with Assoc. Antelope at Montpelier |
