EP-AHT (cn 3196) At night of 21st June, the aircraft was attacked like her sister in Ghale Morghi airport. An attacker climbed from wall of the college to just damage the aircraft. This isn`t start of the serial attacks against last remaining historic aircraft in Iran. First attacks occured in 1980 in Ghale Morghi airport against last remained DC-3s and DC-6 there. Nobody knows who are they and what they want. They are just destroying historic aircraft. They just want to prepare condition for scrapping the aircraft. (Note: engine gauges are broken). |

C-GOGQ (cn 3196) It was quite a sight seeing four yellow Ministry helicopters parked here at the same time. This one was built in 1999 & was resting beside the Government's hangar with her other sisters. If suddenly there was a forest fire call, it would have been gone in a flash. |

EP-AHT (cn 3196) EP-AHT along with EP-AHS & EP-AHZ are Imperial Iranian Civil Aviation Shrike Commanders. Their home was Imperial Iranian Aero Club at Qaleh Morghi airport in the 1970`s. They had been stored at Qaleh Morghi along with two other Iran Civil Aviation Shrike Commanders (EP-AMQ & EP-AMP) since mid-1990`s. After these airworthy Shrikes were relocated from Qaleh Morghi to Mehrabad, fuselage & wingtips of EP-AHT were damaged after accident with trees during transferring by trailer. Also, wings of EP-AMP were cut by hacksaw! |
