Helistar
Bell 206B JetRanger II
Adelaide - Parafield (YPPF)
Australia - South Australia, May 18, 2012
Remark
Photographer
VH-NDK (cn 3804) This Jet Ranger operated by Helistar has been kitted out with a 50 gallon demineralised water tank, pump and a steerable spray boom. It is used to clean the insulators of high tension power lines. It is the only metal spray boom used for this purpose in Australia. It is a unique application, showing the versatility of Jet Ranger and the company’s operations portfolio. It may have been a bit of a chilly flight though with all the doors off.
