NC8407 (cn 4-AT-69) Lifting off runway 36L. This aircraft and another Tri-Motor flew from early morning to late afternoon every day of Oshkosh 2013. I also did a 15 minute flight on this aircraft during the week.

NC8407 (cn 4-AT-69) It was an absolute amazing experience to fly in this 1929 Ford Tri-Motor, a type seldom seen where I live. The whole Airventure experience is already overwhelming for a first-timer, but then hearing that you will fly in this machine... Wow. I quickly secured a window seat for the short sightseeing flight and this was the view I was treated to just after departure. Aircraft as far as the eye can see! The flight also took us over the seaplane base, which was quite cool as well. Many thanks to the Radiers!

NC8407 (cn 4-AT-69) One of only 8 airworthy Trimotors in the world today. This one is based at the EAA AirVenture Museum in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, USA and tours the United States, performing at various airshows. A real pleasure to see one up close!
