In 1993 was sold to Hellenic Air Force and since May 2008 wears special livery to commemorate 50 years of F-4 type in service and 30 years usage of recconaisance RF-4E Phantoms by the Greece Air Force. Aircraft is assigned to 348. MTA (tactical reconnaissance squadron) named "Matia" (Eyes) / 110. PM (combat wing) operated from Larisa airbase. |

Fifty years after that, the Phantom is still in service… This Greek photo-reconnaisance example, nicely painted for the type’s anniversary, is seen here having just arrived for RIAT, about to cross the active runway to take its place in the static park. And doesn’t it look a proper piece of kit. |
