JY-ACE (cn 42855/4) Probably the oldest surviving DC-6 still around, in 1969 it was sold for use as a Coffe bar in Germany ! After the owner passed away it was bought and moved to Bad Laehr, which is located about 30 km south of Osnabruck,Germany. Now registered D-ABAH see other photos on this site. |

Pr. Oldendorf is a village located between Hannover and Osnabrück in Germany. Note the fake wooden propellers. The aircraft was moved to Bad Laer in 2003. |
