LN-PIP (cn 45256/40) Was intended to fly day-old chickens by a company called "Chikko-dan". After only 1 flight it suspended operations. SAS bought the aircraft and removed all useable parts and put the aircraft in open storage which it still is today.

LN-PIP (cn 45256/40) Delivered new to Pan Am in 1960. Operated by Chikko-Dan during 1983-84 transporting live chickens. WFU in 10.84. Still present in decaying state at CPH in January 2001. It is also one of the oldest DC-8's still in existence.
