N230NW / 1230 (cn 46552/71) Leaving LGW in the miserable weather! Sitting on a DC-10 looking out the left hand side with a great overview of the south terminal and part of the north terminal. There isn't much left in right now, this was taken at 13:45pm. Phuket Air 743 is at the gate with a few BA772's around. N230NW / 1230 (cn 46552/71) This is the cabin of NWA's DC-10-30's. This was shot from the rear most row of seats in the centre seat getting a perfectly central and even view of the cabin. No PTV's on these old birds, just a large central screen that cycles 2 movies and the moving map. About a 75% load factor today. For a plane that is nearly 30 years old it is in immaculate condition! I love flying these DC-10's! It will be a sad day when they leave... (10D/15mmF2.8Fisheye) |
