Germany - Air Force
McDonnell Douglas F-4F Phantom II
Marietta - Dobbins ARB (Atlanta NAS) (MGE / KMGE)
USA - Georgia, June 7, 1996
Remark
Photographer
3832 (cn 4700) One of 7 Bundesluftwaffe Rhinos to visit Dobbins for an overnight stay, this one is seen taxying past C-5B 86-0019 on its way to resume its journey to Holloman AFB, NM for some fair weather training. The small red script letter "R" on the air intake nacelle signifies JG-71 from Wittmundhafen, which bore the name of Germany's most famous WW I ace, Richtofen.
