N888WA (cn 6424) The finished (apart from some clocks) cockpit section looks truely magnificent and a testament to all those volunteer manhours neccessary to bring it back to such a pristine condition. Note the reg. plate (XA-NAR) visible in the centre of the control panel. This aircraft never actually flew with BOAC, rather will eventually be displayed in its true Mexicana markings at the Museum of Flight at BFI. |

N888WA (cn 6424) At this point owned by Redmond Air Inc, this is the ex-Mexicana Comet which the Everett Vocational College later painted in BOAC colours, although it never served with them. Now restored for the Museum of Flight, still in BOAC c/s |

N888WA (cn 6424) The restored cockpit of an ex Mexicana Comet 4C in the Museum Of Flight's Restoration Center. The cockpit section looks pretty neat. However a lot of restoration is still required in the main cabin section of this aircraft.. |

N888WA (cn 6424) The tail of the comet is sticking out of the Museum of Flight restoration hangar, and the 727 prototype tail is in behind. I think that is a section of a 747 nose under the tail. |
