J-141 (cn 6D-131) Late 2005 Chile decided to buy 18 second hand Dutch F-16’s. The first 8 aircraft (6 of them already in the Chilean colours and two so-called air spares still in Dutch colours) departed Twenthe airbase on Monday the 4th of September 2006 and were due to arrive at their new home base later that week. After the official handover the Dutch registration will be removed and this aircraft will become the 730. |
