5Y-OPL (cn 84) This Buffalo has done a tremendous job for the humanitarian organisations in Southern Sudan, wearing UN/WFP titles until mid-2007. After that the aircraft became available for adhoc jobs in the region, based at Loki. On 29SEP08 the machine got w/o due to an accident. |

5Y-OPL (cn 84) Nice image of a less nice happening: due to a malfunctioning wheel door, the right gear leg could not unfold, forcing the crew to make a 'gear up' landing. Nobody got injured, but the plane was written off, leaving Loki without a 'can do' workhorse. Trident is working hard to get 5Y-TAJ (c/n 108) up and running again. |
