This a/c was w/o as EP-MCF on 01/09/2006 at Mashad Airport (MHD/OIMM), Iran. It crashed on landing and caught fire, reportedly skidding off the runway after a tyre burst. |

CCCP-85650 (cn 88A788) This was taken just after the aircrafts arrival at Shannon for painting. Flight crew were escorted by a KGB officer. 30 minutes later the aircraft was towed to the hangar in the backround. This a/c crashed while landing on 01 September 2006 in Mashad, Iran. |

EP-MCF (cn 88A788) The first and last shot of this registration! :-( Born in 1988 and crashed on the first day of September 2006. On flight 945 from Bandar Abas This Aircraft after landing and runing about 670 metters on MHD runway,one of the main tires accident with hook-barier then turned left and crashed because left wing hit the ground. The aircraft caught fire.28 persons killed and about 40 injured. |
