G-ODAM (cn AA5A-0818) Photo taken 15 minutes after this aircraft made an emergency landing in a nearby field to my house. The aircraft had departed RWY21 and declared an emergency shortly after take off.

G-ODAM (cn AA5A-0818) In the bottom of a valley just south of Biggin Hill airfield. Seen here about to be recovered. The wings have been removed to aid recovery and apart from a missing nosewheel, the damage looks minimal - "well done" that pilot! This is not the first time this particular field has been used by aircraft for a forced landing. The evidence of fire in the foreground is not related to this incident. Ex G-FOUX.
