USA - Air Force
Boeing YC-14A
Tucson - Davis-Monthan AFB (Municipal) (DMA / KDMA)
USA - Arizona, March 18, 2014
Remark
Photographer
72-1874 (cn P2) This was Boeing's entrant into the USAF's Advanced Medium STOL Transport (AMST) competition that aimed to replace the C-130 Hercules as the USAF's tactical transport aircraft. Although all specifications were met this plane never made it into production and the USAF eventually decided to go with an updated C-130 and a larger transport (hence the C-17).

USA - Arizona, May 5, 2008
Remark
Photographer
72-1874 (cn P2) Looking intact and in good condition - if a little sandblasted - this YC-14A prototype has been in store for 28 years now, entering MASDC on the 1st April 1980. She still resides on AMARG's 'Celebrity Row' and is admired by visitors on the Pima tour bus.
