Note the bulged cylinder-head covers - only evident on Rolls-Royce Griffon powered Spitfires. Built in 1948 and delivered to SOC Kai Tak, Hong Kong on 28-Aug-1951. Last flew on 21-Apr-1955 and preserved at Kai Tak until delivery to Imperial War Museum Duxford in 1996.
