Geneseo (D52)
USA - New York, June 22, 2005
Remark
Photographer
N345AB / 330652/3H-D (cn 13803) Well our once living room interiored D-Day C-47 has had the living taken from the room for annual inspection. Then it will be restored to a more Spartan military configuration. See photo ID 827817 for a 'before' picture of the cabin.

USA - New York, May 4, 2005
Remark
Photographer
N345AB / 330652/3H-D (cn 13803) The Douglas DC-3/C-47 could be considered the greatest aircraft of all time. When the last A380/787 are retired to the boneyard there'll be a DC-3 there to pick up the crew. Thank You Mr. Donald Douglas Sr!

USA - New York, April 20, 2005
Remark
Photographer
N345AB / 330652/3H-D (cn 13803) Graphic black and white is the only way to honor this D-Day Veteran! The history of this classic shows she earned her stripes on the night of 5-6 June 1944 over Normandy. She was a lead a/c dropping paratroopers of the 82d Airborne Division near St. Mère Église, France. After WWII she went on to fly for Penn Central and Frontier Airlines. She is now the cornerstone a/c of the 1941 Historical Aircraft Group.
