CCCP-77102 / 451 (cn 01-2) Not a great photo, but especially interesting. The day before it's crash, the TU-144 performs the identical maneuver that it failed to survive on its next attempt. Otherwise making for a poor shot, the picture has a horizontal and vertical reference clearly showing the extremely severe attitude of the aircraft. It flew from left to right at slow speed, then pitched up steeply and banked left. The next day, at the apogee of this maneuver, it suffered reverse airflow, stalled and broke up. |

CCCP-77102 / 451 (cn 01-2) Not great quality, but evocative, taken the day before it's fatal crash. Concorde cruises up and away, leaving Charger to its fate. |
