Turkish Stars are flying usually in 8-ship formation with 6 single seaters NF-5A and 2 double seaters NF-5B. |

A21-55 / 55 (cn 0814/AF055) RAAF 3 Squadron F/A-18A A21-55 dominates a Classic Formation of RAAF Fighter aircraft at the 2008 Amberley Defence Airshow. The other aircraft are 76 Squadron Hawk 127 LIF A27-31 (armed with Sidewinders), Meteor VH-MBX (A77-851), Vampire VH-VAM (A79-617), and CAC Mustang VH-MFT (A68-769). The Meteor and Vampire are operated by the Temora Aviation Museum. This is a RAAF Fighter Pilot's Dream Formation. The only significant aircraft missing are a Mirage and Sabre. |

The trip to the NEAM turned out to be fortuitous this day -- a lot of special access was being granted to visitors, including the restoration hangar and research library. |
