Untitled
Nanchang CJ-6A
Omaka (NZOM)
New Zealand, March 2014
Remark
Photographer
ZK-MUD / 86 (cn 1832041) Imported from Australia in the late '90s in poor condition and housed in Omaka ever since, this is the result of more than 10 years of dedicated work to restore this aircraft to her original glory! Final assembly was completed in January 2014 and she, at long last, got airborne on 16-04-2014 for a successful first flight. Pictured here with sister ships ZK-STP and ZK-JQS, doing an engine run against a lovely Marlborough backdrop. (Source: JEM Aviation) [Canon EOS 40D + EF 100-400mm f4.5-5.6L IS USM]
