MM61187 / 89-ZR S.M. 82 Canguru 1938-1960 during the World War II was used as Italian bomber and transport. After the armistice (Sept. 1943) the Germans captured 200 SM.82s, many being operated as transports by the Luftwaffe as `Savoia Gruppen`.These aircraft had better capabilities as transports than the Ju-52.
