Remark
Photographer
VH-ZSQ / A84-234 (cn EEP71324) Photo of Temora Aviation Museum's Canberra Bomber taxying in (and blowing up a dust storm) after a formation sortie with Gloster Meteor F8 VH-MBX (A77-851). This ex-RAF Canberra is painted to represent 2 Squadron RAAF Mk20 aircraft A84-234, as operated in Vietnam. The aircraft is regularly flown at Temora and other locations by Rod Luke, who did a Canberra conversion in the 1970s at Amberley.

Remark
Photographer
VH-ZSQ / A84-234 (cn EEP71324) Rare photo of the Pilot's Cockpit/ Instrument Panel in Temora Aviation Museum's Canberra Bomber. This ex-RAF aircraft is painted to represent 2 Sqn RAAF aircraft A84-234, as operated in Vietnam. The aircraft is regularly flown at Temora and other locations by Rod Luke, who did a Canberra conversion in 1977. I went for a 2.0 hour target-towing sortie in A84-240 at Butterworth on 18Feb1981. A84-240 (Del: Apr1958) went to RNZAF Museum, Wigram, New Zealand in Aug1984. (A84-241 is on display in Woomera, SA.)

VH-ZSQ / A84-234 (cn EEP71324) Classic aircraft, great site, also I wonder if that port hole in the cockpit canopy was part of the original design or was it added later for the pilots to wave to fans on the air show circuit.

Remark

VH-ZSQ / A84-234 (cn EEP71324) From the Temora Aviation Museum, ready to go ... you see the red line around the canopy ? There where you should chop in case of an emergency ... that's at least what it says on the aircraft !!

VH-ZSQ / A84-234 (cn EEP71324) (Built 1955) Low and fast for landing on Rwy 18 and shot with about 100mm! How nice does this aircraft look! Do yourself a favour, visit Temora and check out the great work the people at the Temora Aviation Museum do... well worth the trip if you ask me!

VH-ZSQ / A84-234 (cn EEP71324) (Built 1955) Nose area close up for the detail lovers. Wierd looking isn't it? And in an emergency you can just chop through the canopy! What a cracker of an idea! This aircraft is seriously well maintained and absolutely immaculate.

Remark
Photographer
VH-ZSQ / A84-234 (cn EEP71324) (Built 1955) Performing a slow pass down Rwy 18 for the Museum operators to do an inspection of the nose gear with binoculars. The aircraft lowered the gear on downwind for Rwy 18 and got 2 green lights for the main and a red for the nose gear. After recycling the gear the same warning appeared hence this slow fly past. All looked good and while on the 2nd downwind leg the 3 green appeared and the aircraft made a safe landing.
