Remark
Photographer
ZK338 / FF (cn BS099/365) The close proximity of St Andrews to Leuchars is illustrated in this shot of a 1 Squadron Typhoon taxiing out for a Runway 08 departure. The imposing St Salvators Chapel dominates the skyline whilst the red building is the famous Hamilton Grand which overlooks the Old Course.

Remark
Photographer
91-4003 / FF (cn 645-4003) "National Museum of the US Air Force" The USAF's most modern air superiority fighter already in the museum! ;-) This one got here because of an in-flight incident during which the max G-load of the aircraft was exceeded. The aircraft landed safely but was never to fly again. It now replaces the prototype YF-22 which was on display here before. [Nikon D800 / AF-S Nikkor 16-35mm]
