The real RCAF 10038 was flown from Duxford as G-MKIV until it crashed at Denham in 1987. Preserved at the excellent Royal Museum of the Armed Forces and of Military History, Brussels. This ex RCAF example is marked as 10038 but it's actually 9895. The real 10038 is presently under restoration at Duxford. Bolingbrokes were built in Canada during the war, and flown by the Royal Canadian Air Force. Ths example is marked as 10038 but is actually 9895. Ironically the real 10038 (now under restoration at Duxford) donated a number of her parts to the restoration of this aircraft.
