N199LP (cn 17264143) Making a 360 over the second town on the island (in terms of size). Rincon lies to the North, behind a chain of mountains. It's a classic town, where things have been left about as natural as it can get, no mass tourism and pretty much the same as 10 years ago, with the exception that some roads might have been paved. Rincon is also home to the "Rose Inn", which (arguably) serves the best local food on the island. |

Overview of the airport at my favorite island, Bonaire. It's been 4,5 years since I visited this place last and the runway has seen a major overhaul in the mean time. On the top left at the airport, you can see a big platform, which is used by widebodies like Arkefly's 767 and KLM's MD-11 (and also for parking smaller bizjets). In front of the terminal and tower, there is a smaller platform, which is used for the scheduled commercial services, like the DAE ATR 42 that is currently on the ground. |
