Hands-off the controls for a very brief moment to take this quick shot of Beirut International Airport from a Cessna at 7,500ft altitude. The left-most runways with landing rubber marks at the north end were still called 17 and 18. Takeoffs are mostly done from rubber-free runway 21 at the east due to the proximity of the Khalde mountains facing the other two, unless wind requires a northerly take off, which will need to be done from runway 17. |
