P-561 (cn 83A573) Four Tu-154B-2's and one IL-62, parked right next to the passenger terminal. There is only little traffic at Pyongyang airport, the only plane I saw moving during my stay at the airport was the aircraft I left with. Interestingly and against all rumours, I was told it is no problem to take photos, so I did with pleasure. |

52-10031 (cn 190-756) Found among many other wrecks in the cellar of the DPRK War Museum in Pyongyang. This Sabre was probably shot down January 1964 near the DMZ by North Korean Forces. |

***** According to the North Korean description this is a F4U-4, shot down in North Korea in the 50's, now hidden in the cellar of the war museum in Pyongyang. Must be a US Navy or US Marines aircraft. |

1032 With 10 stars painted underneath the canopy indicating the shoot downs of US aircraft during the Korean war. But why only 7 of these are filled red? |

Apparently shot down 1953. Not sure about the exact aircraft type, but it says 'AD-2' on the sign. It's either a USAF or a USN aircraft. Preserved at the D.P.R.K. War Museum. |
