Bird Island (BDI / FSSB)
Seychelles, June 7, 2012
Remark
Photographer
Runway overview. One hour before sunset some of the worlds biggest tortoise are grassing on the runway. Only one Twin Otter each day lands on this runway at 2:45 pm. At this time the runway is free of these animals, because they are looking for shadow inside the small forest nearby the runway.
