USA - Air Force
North American YF-107A
Tucson - Davis-Monthan AFB (Municipal) (DMA / KDMA)
USA - Arizona, March 19, 2014
Remark
Photographer
55-5118 (cn 212-1) The F-107 was North American's entry into the 1950s USAF tactical fighter-bomber design competition and was based on the F-100 but with the over-fuselage engine air-intakes as the main innovation. The competition was eventually won by the F-105 Thunderchief and in the end only three test F-107s were produced. This was the first example built and is now on display at the super Pima Air & Space Museum.

Siemens-Schuckert D.IV (replica)
Grand Canyon - Valle (Robidoux / Arizona State / Municipal) (40G)
USA - Arizona, March 16, 2014
Remark
Photographer
N1094G The D.IV was most probably the best German fighter to be produced during WWI. however, too few were delivered before the Armistice to have any effect on the course of the war. The Planes of Fame replica is airworthy and on display at thier museum at Valle.
