164676 / NK-410 (cn 1106/C292) Seeing a Hornet parked on the NAS Atlanta main flight line was always good; seeing 4 was outstanding! Here we have a mix of units and models in this early Sunday morning portrait: 2 "C" models from VFA-25 Fist of the Fleet, NAS Lemoore, CA, an "A" model from VFA-204 River Rattlers, NAS New Orleans, LA, and lastly, a "D" model (marked "Marines") assigned to VFA-125 Rough Raiders, also from Lemoore. The landmark NAS Atlanta Hangar 1 looks on in the background. |

158146 / A-722 (cn 14183) While somewhat dirty, this Scooter nevertheless looks sharp in its International Orange/Insignia White training colors. Visiting the NAS Atlanta t-line from NAS Meridian, MS where it is assigned to VT-7 Tigers, this TA-4 seems to be buttoned up for an overnight stay. However, the small door hanging open near the wing leading edge normally covers the receptacle for the NC-8A power cart plug. |

75-0043 (cn 142/A123) "Together again!" Apparently inseparable, the same pair of Eagles that formed the centerpiece of the last official sortie celebration for the 116th Fighter Wing, Georgia Air Guard at Dobbins ARB on August 30, 1995 (see photo 2034732), are now seen once again on the Dobbins transit-line almost 2 years later! They certainly look good in the colors of their new owners, the 125th Fighter Wing, Florida Air Guard at Jacksonville International Airport, which also received several other ex-116th Eagles. |
