44-76457 / IJ (cn 32789/16041) One of the oldest types to appear in the static display at the USAF 25th Anniversary show at Andrews AFB in September 1972 was C-47 44-76457 from the 4410th Special Operations Training Group at England AFB, Louisiana. The camouflage pattern was typical of those aircraft assigned to special operations duties at this time.

N18111 (cn 1983) Originally NC18111, built August 31st 1937 (approximately the 117th built). She operated first for United Airlines and stayed with the airline throughout World War II. In 1954 she flew for American Flyers. Then in 1973 she flew for Shawnee Airlines. In 2006 she was moved to the Massey Air Museum. Some of the original Shawnee Airlines Interior remains; currently undergoing restoration.

From the early 1980’s she sat outside David Tallichet's Air Transport Command Restaurant on Rt. 13 at New Castle County Airport. In 2006 she was moved to the Massey Air Museum; currently undergoing restoration.
