USA - Navy
Lockheed P-3C Orion
Marietta - Dobbins ARB (Atlanta NAS) (MGE / KMGE)
USA - Georgia, March 24, 1993
Remark
Photographer
158924 / LA-5 (cn 285A-5596) Another step on the road to low-viz Orions is illustrated by this one in "halfway" colors and markings; the color scheme and national insignia are old style, but the sqn. markings are low-viz gray. This aircraft is assigned to Patrol Sqn. 5 Mad Foxes at NAS Jacksonville, FL, and their specialty in markings arose from the P-2 Neptune era. A prominently marked magnetic compass panel on the tail, was made to look like a door with the sqn. Fox standing in it, holding a hammer. This shows only the fox's head.

Remark

EC-DUJ / 63 (cn 098) Le Bourget 89. Could a C-101 carry all these weapons? Not in the air for sure!

Off-Airport - Palma de Mallorca Port
Spain, May 1989
Remark
Photographer
An emotive instant: The old Dedalo arrives for a very last time to Palma de Mallorca. Few days later was decommissioned and replaced by R-11 Principe de Asturias. We can see some AV-8A and helicopters on the flightdeck
