CS-TKN (cn 624) This month of November had been really good for us spotters, with so many different things coming by!! Not being a different A/C, this one deserved some attention... These pilots were caught in some wind shear, and it was really close to total disaster, since the wing almost touched the ground! You can also see the stress in main landing gear... At that time, there were gusts up to 44 knots of crosswind, and heavy turbulence was reported! I'm glad that everything ended up well.. [Canon 40D + Sigma 120-400 |

N787ZA (cn 40695/6) The sixth 787 is seen here resting on Boeing's ramp as we're heading to BFI today. The wing has an amazing shape... looks even like a glider! Dedicated to my friends Gregoire Richier and Olivier Le Saint who I shared this flight with. |

Nightlife at RWY 31R in TWAN style. This is the best known spotting place in BUD, we called "patak" (watercourse or creek). The main lights are landing lights of airplanes. There are other airplane lights in the picture near the horizon. In the ground there are reflectors of cars. In the middle of circles the shortest strip is Polaris. The blue stars near the mid-horizon are stars of Big Dipper which is the best known formation in the northern sky, but this not constellation, it's only part of Ursa Maior. |

9V-SWO (cn 34580/708) Final Approach into Changi after a 3 1/2 hour flight from HKG. A storm had just passed through the City State and the sun had just set. A poignant shot for me as this would be my last approach into Singapore for a while, as three days later I would leave Singapore for a new life in Los Angeles, California. Thanks Singapore for many years of great memories and experiences! [Nikon D3] |

PH-XRB (cn 28256/1298) Dinner with a view! Just departed Iraklion and heading North to overfly the Balkan with its impressive evening-thunderstorms, further North all the way to Amsterdam. Just after reaching our cruising altitude its finally time to enjoy the warm meals and see the world glide by underneath us. |

RA-85114 (cn 89A814) Tu-154 is notorious for being tail-heavy when there are no passengers on board; certain precautions need to be taken to keep it balanced on the ground. This aircraft was tipped backwards onto its tail with a strong wind blast before a thunderstorm. |

VH-VQK (cn 2651) Off the south coast of Borneo flying through high cloud associated with distant storm cells our A320 truly becomes an electric jet. Amazing display of static electricity flowing through our jet in relatively smooth air makes for an amazing sight and luckily had me gear along. EOS1DMK3 14/2.8 II |

D-AIAM (cn 408) L1 door of the last ever A300 in Lufthansa service, picture taken at the farewell party in Frankfurt. Many employees took the chance to pay their tribute before the "Rosenheim" completed the final revenue flight as LH3853 FCO-FRA. Please also note the "tears" of the Airbus. We will miss you, too! |
