JA707A (cn 27037/247) For the winter of 2009/2010, ANA brought the B772 into HNL rather than usual B763 most likely because of the Honolulu Marathon, which seems to be very popular with the Japanese. JA707A pulls into the gate after an overnight flight from NRT as NH1052. It's definitely nice seeing a larger ANA aircraft at HNL! |

B-HOV (cn 25082/849) If Cathay Pacific's B744s aren't flying the long routes, they are deployed to regional destinations. B-HOV approaches runway 20R on a sunny day from Hong Kong via Bangkok. |

9V-SWF (cn 34571/603) The B777-300ER has replaced many aging B747 fleets around the world, including Singapore Airlines' fleet of Megatops; those jumbos will truly be missed. |

HL7489 (cn 27072/1013) Korean Air is now sending the B744 into HNL; it's always nice to see larger aircraft here! The last Honolulu-Seoul flight of the year taxies to runway 26L as KE52. |

HS-TGA (cn 32369/1273) Here's a view of the southwestern part of Chiang Mai and the typical mountainous scenery of northern Thailand. Photographed just after liftoff from runway 18; it's quite apparent how steep our climb angle is! Flying from CNX to BKK on TG103. |

HS-TGA (cn 32369/1273) With large loads of passengers flying between Chiang Mai and Bangkok, Thai Airways always utilizes heavy metal on this sector, not to mention running several flights daily! A good chunk of the passengers consists of tourists, and seen here is a 100% full cabin view of the CNX-BKK "tourist express" (TG103). Some interesting choice of reading material there, my friend! |

HS-PGV (cn 2310) Thanks to Bangkok Airways' many unique and colorful liveries, there's never a dull moment when you're waiting for a few hours at BKK! HS-PGV is adorned with the beautiful waves and marine life of Krabi, which is a small resort town in western Thailand. |

HS-TKC (cn 29211/250) Thai's B773s have been retrofitted with the new cabin interior compared to an A.net photo of the same cabin taken in late 2008. Each seat now features a PTV screen, and combined with Thai's wonderful in flight service, leads to a very enjoyable flight. Flying from BKK-CNX on TG114. |

N672UA (cn 30027/777) Just after the sun rises from behind the Koolau mountains, the early morning United Airlines flight to SFO makes a hard right turn to avoid overflying downtown Honolulu. I really think the old United livery looks quite good in certain lightning conditions! |

N840AL (cn 23124/1046) The new Aloha Air Cargo livery is quite refreshing, and although it's no longer the same airline it used to be, it's still nice to see the name "Aloha" flying around the Hawaiian islands. The old Aloha will be missed. Interesting to note seeing this exact aircraft at this airport back in 2001 when it was being ferried to PHX for delivery to Alaska Airlines. Little did I know that this classic would return to Hawaii years later! |
